摘要
The two-dimensional model considering surface roughness was established to calculate the adhesion force under the existence of the third medium between high-speed wheel and rail. The partial elastohydrodynamic lubrication theory was applied and the multi-grid method was used as the numerical tool. The influence of parameters of train speeds, contact pressures, wheel radii and surface roughness and factors of different types of third media on the wheel-rail adhesion characteristics was investigated and the affecting mechanisms of the above parameters and factors were analyzed numerically. The results of the numerical high-speed wheel-rail adhesion model and the JD-1 test were compared. The changing tendency of the numerical model results is the same as that of JD-1 test results and their values fit well.
