Oxygen diffusion in TiC at high temperatures

摘要
It has been shown that when a small amount of oxygen is dissolved in monocrystals of TiC1-x in the temperature range (1700 - 2050 K), the oxygen mobility and its activation energy have comparable values to those for carbon vacancies. This suggests that in this temperature range oxygen diffuses in TiC1-x via carbon vacancies.
