摘要
A frame rate up-conversion algorithm is proposed and tested in this paper. Firstly, the priority confidence level of each target block in the initial interpolation frame is calculated to determine the search order and range of block matching. Secondly, based on the Sum of Absolute Difference (SAD) matching rule and the matching confidence level, the local full search is applied on the target block to determine the optimal matching block and motion vector. Then, 3-dimensional vector filtering federating the time and space domains is employed to eliminate the singular motion vector of the estimated motion vector field. Finally, the high-quality interpolated image is obtained through the weighted motion compensation method of overlapped blocks. Experimental results show that, expect for the simplicity of the hardware implementation, the erroneous overlapped matching can be effectively avoided, the precision of the motion estimation is improved and the reliability of motion vectors is guaranteed by the proposed algorithm.
