In the automotive industry cost pressure is increasing steadily. The maintenance takes as a service area a key role to maintain the efficiency in production and logistics system at a high level. Unfortunately, the importance of the maintenance of a competitive production system is not understood in practice partially. In the following paper, we show a benchmarking study, how maintenance potentials to develop specifically. We have investigated a global production network of three screen-printing productions of an automotive supplier. © Carl Hanser Verlag, München.
