In previous research, the Real-signal Mother Wavelet (RMW) has been proposed as one effective method for abnormal signal detection. In order to apply the RMW to the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT), a Parasitic Discrete Wavelet Transform (PDWT) has also been proposed. In this research, to extend an application case of this method, attempts are being made to apply it to biological signal processing, including abnormal signals. In this paper, the problem of aliasing energy loss in the process of decomposition and reconstruction by using the RMW is focused on as one type of implementation problem. A proposed method of improvement and its effectiveness is examined. ICIC International © 2012.
