The stress and strain distributions of outward fringe's convex curvature flanging operations in sheet-metal forming has been analyzed, by means of the P. Ludwikfs strain-stress relationship, both strain hardening and transverse anisotropy were taken into consideration, An approximate mathematical models which to calculate the hoop stress and hoop strain for the shrink flanging has been established, also is the models which to calculate the length at the flanging edge. Results of the numerical simulation of shrink flanging forming has been compared to the calculation's results using the mathematical models, we found that there was excellent agreement between them.
