Design and testing of a 64 kW doubly-sine wound rotor brushless doubly-fed induction generator

摘要
In this paper, the sine distribution winding structure is introduced to the design of the wound rotor which is designed based on slot harmonic of brushless doubly-fed induction generators (BDFIG). It has overcome the defects of low conductor availability ratio and high harmonic contents. The structure of the double-sine rotor of BDFIG is presented in this paper. And the winding design principle, the method and the harmonic magnetomotive force (MMF) calculation are analyzed in detail. The design method of a 64 kW, for example, doubly-sine wound rotor of BDFIG is shown. At last, several experiments are carried out as follows: Curve of output power, prototype efficiency and temperature as power winding with constant load; the waveform of output voltages as power winding with loads under constant speed; dynamic performances of the prototype. The experimental results of the prototype machine show that the wound-rotor BDFIG which is designed by this manner has achieved excellent performances.
