Firstly ion optics calculations for the transport of 10Be were performed for the high energy system. Then a new Faraday cup was installed to measure high energy 9Be current and holder for silicon nitride foil (SiN-foil) was mounted. For the detection the Si-detector at the end of the beam line was replaced with a high resolution ΔE-Eres gas ionization chamber. The results show that the overall transmission efficency is about 2% and the 10Be background level is limited to 4×10-14.
