The Steyrermuhl AG (Austria) company has invested 18 million Euros in a new cutting line, which became the core of its soft-wood sawmill. A new board sorting system has been also installed and started up. That modernization project resulted in an increase in the sawmill's annual capacity to more than 500,000 meters of spruce wood. The newest technology involved in the new facilities will place Steyrermuhl in the leading group of the most advanced and effective wood processing companies in Europe.
