German wire producer, Drahtwerk St. Ingbert GmbH (DWI) has constructed a new surface treatment line for the pickiling and coating of wire. The new line allows coating of higher quality and with greater homogeneity. Combined with bell-type annealing, in which wire coils are heat treated in a defined process in order to achieve particular material properties. The investment amounts to 13.5 million Euros.
