摘要
The modified cellulose pulp with different contents of sodium ion (Na+) was obtained through basification and etherification at different temperature. Combustion properties and thermal stability of modified cellulose pulp were characterized by FT-IR, limiting oxygen index (LOI), cone calorimetry (CONE) and SEM. Results show that the maximum LOI value of modified cellulose pulp is 34.0, which is higher than that (19.0) of cellulose fibers, as for the minimum total heat released (THR) of modified cellloluse pulp is 6.74 MJ/m2, which is lower than that (20.44 MJ/m2) of cellulose fibers. At the same time, modified cellulose pulp which has the best flame retardancy and calcium alginate fiber was blended, forming the composite flame retardant paper. LOI, CONE and SEM were used to study burning and flame retardant properties of the flame retardant paper. © 2017, Editorial Board of Polymer Materials Science & Engineering. All right reserved.
