Gesture recognition method based on wireless data glove with sensors

In this paper, we provide one gesture recognition method based on wireless data glove with sensors, and this method can be used conveniently in large scenes interactive exhibition, theme pavilion application, entertainment, etc. We select CC2530 chip as the main control chip of our wireless data glove, set up four fingers buttons on our wireless data glove, use Xsens MTi sensor to acquire glove data in real-time, and complete the wireless communication by using the RS232 serial interface. After acquiring glove data, we convert the data, and extract glove's direction of movement, acceleration, rotation and other features. Then we complete gesture comparison, and finish gesture recognition. Finally, we present the results and the results show that our method is feasible and valid.
