摘要
The micro-climate regulation of clothing systems with warp knitted spacer fabrics was studied under the project AiF 13086 at Institut fur Textil- und Bekleidungstechnik, Hohensteiner Institute. The investigation included the determination of the effects of weft yarn fiber material and fiber amount on the transport of heat and moisture. The hydrophilic weft material viscose and hydrophobic weft material polypropylene were compared and the heat and moisture transport determined with a convection simulator. The weft insertion with a 350 dtex yarn caused a reduction in heat transport by 4.6 % for viscose and by 2.8 % for polypropylene, while in double weft yarn it resulted in an increase in heat transport by 14.2% for viscose and by 2.8 % for polypropylene, thus providing more comfort properties. An additional weft insertion positively supports the comfort properties of clothing, which are used under extreme physical conditions.
