Determined by its image-forming principle, the well-ground seismic CT technology has outstanding advantages of increasing production efficiency, reducing production cost and expanding scope of exploration. It is also an effective tool to find out geological characteristics under constructions. In this paper, we made contrast studies between ART and SIRT reconstruction methods to analyze and obtain the characters and applicable conditions of well-ground seismic CT technology. According to the research, a more stable SIRT algorithm with rapid convergence was applied to the practical data, and the results show that a good production effect was obtained, which exactly verified the correctness, feasibility and practicability of the well-ground seismic CT technology. © 2014, EJGE.
