Maragheh Pulp & Paper Industries, Iran, is going ahead with its project to build a pulp line at Maragheh. The company has signed a $30 million contract with Andritz to supply the equipment for the scheme. The pulp line will produce 50,000 tonnes/year of alkaline peroxide mechanical pulp (APMP) from poplar.
