摘要
In the present contribution the mechanical properties of a closed-cell aluminium foam were investigated in order to verify their applicability for engineering constructions under static and alternating loads. Additionally, the influence of high strain rates on the stress-strain behaviour for crash absorber applications was taken into consideration. Damage mechanisms for fundamental material tests under compression, tension and cyclic loads were determined. Additionally fracture mechanical tests were carried out to prove the applicability of conventional fracture mechanics.
