摘要
To solve the pseudo-code synchronization ambiguous problem of sinusoidal phase binary offset carrier (BOC) signal, a low-complexity unambiguous tracking method was proposed.By correlating the designed special local reference auxiliary signal with the received BOC signal, a cross-correlation correlation function was obtained, and then a new non-coherent code discriminator function was constructed by combining the obtained cross-correlation function with the auto-correlation function of the BOC signal. The discriminator function had only one lock point, which could make the tracking stable and unambiguous.Different from the traditional early-minus-late unambiguous methods, the proposed method only needed the prompt branch correlator outputs, and at least 3/4 correlators could be reduced. As a result, the receive devices' complexity could be significantly reduced.Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the tracking accuracy of the proposed method is between that of the like binary phase shift keying (BPSK-LIKE) method and bump-jumping (BJ) method, and it also shows better tracking robustness. © 2019, Editorial Board of Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
