摘要
A new connection mode for prefabricated concrete columns with rational details was studied to improve the assembly efficiency and seismic behavior of PC structure, two prefabricated column specimens and one cast-in-place column specimen were tested under low cyclic reversed loading to investigate the influence of the axial compression ratio on the bearing capacity, hysteretic energy dissipation, stiffness and the deformation capacity of the specimens, and some reasonable improvement measures were then proposed by comparing the difference in seismic behavior between the prefabricated columns and the cast-in-place column. The results show that the failure mode is the same basically; There are no remarkable differences in load carrying capacity, energy dissipation capacity, stiffness degradation and the ductility of prefabricated columns under the same axial compression ratio compared to the cast-in-place column, the PC columns also possess similar seismic performance basically, so it can be designed according to the cast-in-place column in practical engineering. However, the stirrups in core areas are prone to failure under a large inter-story drift ratio, and there are some vertical cracks in the connection area of PC columns, additional stirrups are needed to prevent or postpone this phenomenon. © 2022, The Editorial Board of Journal of Basic Science and Engineering.
