:
A marine cooling water pump is mainly used to deliver the cooling water, which is expected to operate with high reliability and low vibration noise. The compressors of the central air conditioning are with similar requirements and technologies. This paper mainly introduces the permanent magnet synchronous motor technology and the compressor vibration reduction method, and discuss the feasibility and prospect of its application in the marine cooling water pumps. © 2019, Editorial Board of Journal of Nuclear Power Engineering.
