Taking the continuous casting mold vibration displacement systems driven by servo motors as research object, a nonlinear processing algorithm was proposed to deal with the nonlinear periodic function between eccentric shaft angles and mold vibration displacements. In the algorithm, the mapping between eccentric shaft angle error and mold displacement was established to ensure the uniqueness between motor rotations and mold displacements, which could reduce the complexity of controller design and the nonlinear influences on the control performance. Simulation and experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed nonlinear processing algorithm. © 2019, China Mechanical Engineering Magazine Office. All right reserved.
