摘要
Tetradentate Salen-type N2O2 donor ligands may play a significant role in coordination chemistry for their versatile applications in various fields like catalysis, metal ion sensing, magnetic materials, electrocatalysis, dyesensitized solar cells, etc. This review provides a comprehensive analysis of the synthesis, structural characteristics, and magnetic properties of azide-bridged di and polynuclear manganese(III)-salen complexes. This discussion commences with an overview of the synthetic strategies employed in the preparation of these complexes, highlighting key methodologies and the role of precursor selection. The applications of the complexes are also highlighted.
