Variable permeability equivalent magnetic circuit network of flux-concentrated transverse flux permanent magnet linear machine

In view of the low space utilization of the traditional transverse flux permanent magnet linear motor, a new type of transverse flux permanent magnet linear motor with three side wall focusing structure is proposed, which has the characteristics of high thrust density and high reliability. Firstly, the basic structure and work principle of the linear transverse flux permanent-magnet motor (TFPM) were introduced. Secondly, the equivalent air-gap permeability model, the equivalent magnetic circuit model of salient pole plane structure and the complete variable permeability equivalent magnetic network model were established successively by analyzing the magnetic flux distribution between the relative positions with stator and mover. Finally, the magnetic linkage results of the variable permeability equivalent magnetic network model and the three-dimensional finite element model were compared and analyzed. The experimental platform of the prototype was developed. The results of back electromotive force (EMF) calculation of the model of variable permeability equivalent magnetic network, finite element model and no-load experiment of prototype were compared and analyzed. The results of variable permeability equivalent magnetic network model are in good agreement with those of finite element calculation, and the correctness of the variable permeability equivalent magnetic network model is proved. © 2020, Harbin University of Science and Technology Publication.
