摘要
Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), which is widely used in medium and high voltage gas insulating transmission and distribution equipment, is an extremely strong greenhouse gas. In order to achieve the emission reduction goal of "carbon peak in 2030, carbon neutral by 2060" as well as promote the clean, low-carbon transformation and green development of the power industry, developing eco-friendly gas insulating medium and equipment to gradually reduce the use of SF6 has become a hot topic. In recent years, Perfluoroisobutyronitrile (C4F7N) and its gas mixture have attracted wide attention due to its superior insulation and eco-friendly properties, which demonstrates promising application potential as SF6 alternative gas. In this series, we summarized the research status of eco-friendly gas C4F7N at home and abroad over the past five years. In part I, the basic parameters of common eco-friendly gases were firstly introduced. Then the research progress of insulation and arc extinguishing characteristics of C4F7N gas mixture were reviewed. Finally, the electrical, thermal decomposition mechanism and characteristics of C4F7N gas mixture were discussed. The future research trend of insulation as well as the electrical, thermal decomposition properties were promoted. © 2021, Electrical Technology Press Co. Ltd. All right reserved.
