摘要
Based on the hydroelastic analysis for multi-connected domain floating structures (MCDFS), this paper evaluated passenger comfort and structural safety for two conceptual designs of a floating tourism platform in waves. Wave loads under the survival condition and hydroelastic response are investigated. To identify equivalent design waves, a method based on the local structural characteristic load is proposed. Several conclusions were proposed, which can guide for assessing passenger comfort and structural safety, as well as optimizing the configuration design of the MCDFS. © 2024 Editorial office of Ship Building of China.
