摘要
Additive Manufacturing of 17–4 PH Stainless Steel by High-speed Laser Directed Energy Deposition. High-speed laser directed energy deposition (HS L-DED) represents an innovative approach to additive manufacturing of metals. By significantly increasing the deposition rates compared to conventional processes, such as the powder bed process, productivity can be increased and thus the barrier to the economic use of additive manufacturing can be overcome. Due to the low lev-el of technological maturity of the HS L-DED process, there are only a few materials that have been used so far. Due to its combination of corrosion resistance, mechanical strength and hardness, 17–4 PH stainless steel is an industrially used material for which appro-priate parameters for the HLA process were determined within this study. © 2022 Walter de Gruyter GmbH, Berlin/Boston, Germany.
