Worldwide, 131 billion parcels were shipped in 2020, according to the 2021 Pitney Bowes Parcel Shipping Index. By 2026, that number is expected to more than double, accelerated by a global pandemic and growing e-commerce industry. With the magnitude increase in retail purchases made online, the need to automate logistics, warehouse, and shipping processes has become a top priority.
