To improve the degree of automatic management for large radio telescope, and enhance the real time and interactivity of its operation and maintenance, a real-time control model of digital twin system based on intelligent perception was proposed, and the key technologies of the digital twin system was described. Taking Five-Hundred-Meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (FAST) as an application case, the digital twin system of FAST was designed and developed, and the virtual model creation, the data intelligent perception and the real-time driving of virtual model were analyzed. The experiment was carried out with part of the system of FAST, which proved rationality and effectiveness of the six-layer theoretical model, and provided an idea for real-time supervision of FAST. © 2021, Editorial Department of CIMS.
