Preparation of UV-curable ZnO/quaternized lignin-based polymer dyes

A petal-like quaternary ammonium modified ligin (QL)@ZnO composite material was prepared from QL and zinc acetate by hydrothermal method. A UV-curable polymer dye (URPD) was synthesized using isophorone diisocyanate, polyethylene glycol, disperse red 60 (DR60), 2, 2-bis(hydroxymethyl)butyric acid, pentaerythritol triacrylate (PTEA) and triethylamine as raw materials. QL@ZnO composite material and URPD were compounded and coated on cotton fabric by screen printing. The structure and properties of URPD were analyzed by FTIR, GPC and DSC. The results showed that QL@ZnO/URPD printed cotton fabric obtained by UV curing technique had good color fastness (4~5 grade). The synergistic effect of QL and ZnO made QL@ZnO/URPD printed cotton fabric had a ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) of 128.49. © 2022, Editorial Office of FINE CHEMICALS. All right reserved.
