摘要
MXenes from Fundamentals to New Frontiers. MXenes, two-dimensional materials classified as transition metal carbides and nitrides, are currently among the most in-demand materials of the 21st century. Their tunability and superior material properties have attracted significant attention from researchers and developers. MXenes exhibit agility in synthesis and processing and possess indispensable properties such as mechanical, electronic, magnetic, and optical characteristics. Consequently, there are seemingly unlimited applications that offer a clear path toward commercialization. This volume focuses on the fundamentals of MXenes (structure, chemistry, nomenclature, material features, and characteristics) and artificial intelligence-machine learning applications and interventions. The target audience includes researchers and material professionals interested in material chemistry involving synthesis, characterization, and applications in advanced materials. © 2023 American Chemical Society.
