摘要
With various types of resources, infrastructures and users participating in the current big data ecosystem at an astonishing speed, resource allocation and scheduling has been identified as one of the key needing substantial research for the advancement of system performance. In this report, we discuss three different resource allocation and scheduling problems that arise in the new computing environment. In particular, we focus on developing novel algorithms to tackle the new challenges in the setting of diverse compute accelerators, communication links, demand characteristics and hardware constraints. © 2023 Copyright is held by the owner/author(s).
