In this investigation, juliflora biodiesel blends were prepared, namely B10 (10% juliflora methyl ester + 90% diesel), B20 and B30, to partially replace diesel in a diesel engine. The engine's performance and emissions were evaluated and the results revealed that the B20 blend exhibited a significantly higher hydro (BTE) compared to both pure diesel and the other biodiesel blends, with BTE being approximately 18.36% higher than that of pure diesel operation. Furthermore, all biodiesel blends demonstrated lower hydrocarbon (HC) emissions than pure diesel, highlighting their potential in reducing environmental impact. © 2023. Carbon Magics Ltd.
