摘要
The effective control of cognitive load in human-computer interaction is able to greatly improve interaction efficiency, security and user satisfaction. To identify the development process of the research on cognitive load in the field of human-computer interaction and meanwhile provide comprehensive references for researchers, the recent academic research on cognitive load and human-computer interaction by collating and comparing the relevant literature was surveyed and summarized. The related research was systematically analyzed from three dimensions:the type of cognitive load, measurement methods and related research variables in human-computer interaction, and each dimension was discussed in detail. Then, some applications of cognitive load in human-computer interaction were analyzed and summarized.Based on the systematic review, the future research directions of cognitive load in human-computer interaction was outlined, which expected to provide some ideas for researchers to carry out relevant research. © 2023 CIMS.
