摘要
When the doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) unit utilizes the rotor kinetic energy to participate in the primary frequency regulation of the power grid, the rotor speed and the active power output of the generator must be guaranteed to be within the safe range. Otherwise, the frequency stability may not be ensured. Therefore, a wind/storage coordinated primary frequency regulation control strategy based on the participation level of the DFIG units is proposed. Considering the DFIG unit's rotor speed variable range and the capacity of its converter, the real-time frequency regulated capability of the unit is quantified by calculating and optimizing the defined participation level coefficient. On this basis, regarding the unit and the battery energy storage system (BESS) as the independent frequency regulation sources, the proportional- differential algorithm and the fuzzy algorithm are used to calculate their respective active power of frequency regulation considering the battery's state of charge. Then, the participation level coefficient is applied to assign the weights to the active power of unit and the BESS in order to realize the coordination of the outputs of the two. The simulation results show that the control strategy is able to effectively suppress the secondary frequency drop and enhance the active power support to the grid frequency while ensuring the safety of rotor speed and the converter power. © 2023 Power System Technology Press.
