摘要
Molecular dynamics simulation of droplet movement on different wettability gradient surface in this paper. Wettability gradient was changed by Lennard-Jones (LJ).The simulation results indicated that when wettability gradient difference was 10°, the droplet moved faster and further on hydrophobic surface with less time to reach the final surface. When wettability gradient differences were 20° and 30°, the difference of droplet movement velocity between hydrophobic surface and hydrophobic to hydrophilic surface became smaller. In addition, the droplet moved furthest in the case of hydrophobic to hydrophilic surface. Finally, the increase of wettability gradient difference caused to greater velocity of droplet. © 2020, Science Press. All right reserved.
