摘要
In this paper, based on FLUENT, the VOF model is used to investigate the propellant-air two-phase flow characteristics of the priming process in complex pipeline. The main findings include: 1) when two jets collide, the air volume is the smallest and the pressure reaches its peak; subsequently, the fluid oscillates back and forth, causing fluctuations in the volume, pressure, and inlet flow rate; at steady state, the volume of air remains unchanged, the pressure is equal to the inlet pressure, and the inlet flow rate is 0; 2) The collision between the jet and the wall at the inlet, as well as the collision between two jets, will generate a large number of micro bubbles, with a minimum bubble size of approximately 17 µm;3) The filling process under different initial and inlet pressures is similar. © 2024 Science Press.
