摘要
The main bridge of Shuangbao Bridge carrying a section of the Second Chongqing-Hunan Highway is a deck-type concrete-filled steel tubular truss arch bridge with two continuous spans of 405 m. The rise-to-span ratio and arch axis coefficient are 1/4. 75 and 1. 55, respectively, creating a catenary arch. The arch consists of two 7. 5 m-wide arch rings and Warren-type wind bracings, and the two arch rings are spaced center-to-center at 17. 5 m, each formed of four latticed frames. Made of Q390D steel, the chords of arch rings have a diameter of 1 400 mm and are filled with C70 self-consolidating concrete. The bent spandrels are composed of steel box members of void rectangular cross-section. The deck system consists of steel girders and concrete deck slabs that cover the full spans of 27 m. The central arch seat is shallowly buried and supported on piles, to address the Karst terrain and combat continuous arch effect. The arch rings were divided into large segments to be erected by a self-balanced cable-stayed cantilever assembly system with 900 m-long cableways. The components of the deck system were first assembled on the ground, with prestressing tendons tensioned, and then integrally hoisted into position. © 2023 Wuhan Bridge Research Institute.
