摘要
With the development of biodegradable materials, environment-friendly materials have attracted much attention in material industry. Because of the diverse sources and distinguished regenerative capacity, starch-based materials have been widely used in walks of life. Until now, starch-based materials have progressed for several generations due to the advances in science and technology. According to the former research, the article summarizes the evolution, classification, method of performance test and applications of starch-based biodegradable materials. In the end, the paper also prospects the research directions in future. © 2019, Editorial Office of Journal of CIFST. All right reserved.
