摘要
In the torque control system using the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) in automobiles, it is essential to use fault-tolerant techniques to maintain continuous torque when a fault occurs. In this paper, we propose a fault remedial strategy to improve the torque control performance under the single-phase open condition. This method can also be utilized for emergency driving by preventing an accident from spreading by forcibly separating the inverter phase in a fault situation such as arm short due to the burnout of the power semiconductor device. Both the simulation and the experimental results proved that the proposed method could maintain continuous torque for driving the remaining two-phase condition when an open-phase state occurred. © ICROS 2019.
