摘要
In order to achieve health self-management and healthy aging, it has become an obvious trend for older adults to seek health information. The purpose of this poster is to present the results of a study implemented with thirty-five older adults in urban China, designed to explore their health information seeking behavior. Semi-structured interview and qualitative analysis were employed. The research results revealed the different preferences of older adults in urban China on the popularity and credibility of health information sources. The obstacles to their health information seeking behavior were mainly manifested in individual factors and social support. Additionally, the conceptual model was established, which described the factors influencing older adults' health information seeking behaviors and their relationships.
