摘要
The mechanical properties of structural materials and additional dampers are investigated based on tests of scaled RC energy dissipation models. The concrete and rebar in prototype structure are simulated separately by micro-concrete and galvanized wire from the perspective of similar bearing capacity. According to the seismic performance targets of structure, the specifications, number and locations of dampers used in the tested model are presented. The results of the mechanical properties of tested model and the dynamic performance of miniature dampers before and after the shaking table tests are compared and analyzed. It is proved that micro-concrete embedded with galvanized wires can well simulate the mechanical behavior of RC materials. Besides, for the miniature dampers, although the measured dynamic index is difficult to reach the design limit, the damped effect is obvious in the shaking table tests. © 2021, The Editorial Board of Journal of Basic Science and Engineering.
