摘要
The preparation methods of microcapsules are various, but the preparation methods of isocyanate microcapsules are limited because of their high activity. This paper started with some generalities of isocyanate and then the preparation methods of isocyanate microcapsules were introduced in detail, including interfacial polymerization, in situ polymerization, Pickering emulsion and sol-gel method. Based on the recent reports on isocyanate microcapsules, the preparation methods of isocyanate microcapsules were emphatically introduced, and briefly narrated its existent problems. Meanwhile, the paper also introduced techniques of isocyanate microcapsules, including solvent evaporation/ extraction, microfluidic technology and supercritical fluid rapid expansion technology. At last, the future study of the isocyanate microcapsules was predicted, which provides insights for the further development of isocyanate microcapsules. © 2020, Editorial Board of Polymer Materials Science & Engineering.
