摘要
Tb3+:ZnO/ZnS phosphor was prepared by sol-gel-precipitation method. XRD results showed that the phosphor mainly exists in the form of ZnO and ZnS, where ZnO belongs to hexagonal phase structure (No. 74-0534) and ZnS belongs to triangular crystal structure (No. 89-2427). TEM showed that the phosphor is irregular and the content of S is 1.85% (atom fraction). IR results showed that Zn-S bond and Zn-O bond are the main components in the phosphor, and the positions of Zn-S bond and Zn-o bond change with the increase of annealing temperature. The luminescence properties and mechanism of the samples were discussed by the analysis of excitation and emission spectra. The optimal annealing temperature for phosphor preparation was 800 ℃, and Tb3+ was dominated by magnetic dipole transition (5D4→7F5). The results showed that add ZnS can form the new energy band structure, and increase the recombination probability, thus improve the luminescence performance of the green phosphors, that is, the luminescence performance of ZnO/ZnS:Tb3+ phosphors is stronger than that of ZnO:Tb3+ phosphors. © 2021, Editorial Office of Journal of the Chinese Society of Rare Earths.
