摘要
In this paper, a solving scheme is proposed for dynamic response of a half-space pile-surrounding soil excited by the known lateral pile vibration. First, the analytical solution to lateral pile vibration is solved by employing dynamic Winkler model. Then the dynamic response of the half-space soil is solved by treating the known pile vibration as the dynamic input. The presented model and its solution are verified by comparing with the finite element analysis (FEA) result subjected to various conditions. The results derived from this paper can be employed to evaluate the dynamic laws of the pile-surrounding soil, when the vertical excitation is hard to be imposed at the pile foundation. The reasonability of employing the lateral parallel seismic (PS) method to predict the pile integrity is demonstrated theoretically as well. © 2020, Editorial Board of Journal of Vibration Engineering.
