Study on Dynamic Response and Long-term Dynamic Stability of High-speed Railway Subgrade under Higher Speed Conditions

The reasonable design of the subgrade structure of high-speed railway can avoid the cumulative deformation of the subgrade caused by long-term dynamic actions of trains to ensure the operation safety. To propose a high-speed railway subgrade structure that meets the long-term dynamic stability requirements under higher speed conditions, a finite element dynamic analysis model of track-subgrade was established. The subgrade dynamic response of different subgrade structures in the case of the train running at higher speedwas analyzed. The thickness of the subgrade bed meeting the long-term dynamic stability of the subgrade under this dynamic load condition was determined. The calculation results show that dynamic stress and deformation are not the main control conditions limiting the thickness of subgrade bed. To meet the requirements of long-term dynamic stability, the dynamic shear strain and cumulative additional settlement on the top surface of the subgrade base shall be used as indexes. The thickness of the subgrade surface layer shall not be less than 0. 4 m while the thickness of the subgrade base layer shall not be less than 2. 3 m. The dynamic response and long-term dynamic stability of different subgrade bed structures are systematically analyzed, and the results obtained can provide theoretical support for the design of subgrade bed structures of high-speed railway. © 2023 Science Press.
