摘要
To study the hydrodynamic resonance in the gap between double floating bodies, a numerical wave tank was established using the CFD software STAR-CCM+. By comparing the calculated results with the experimental data, the validity of the numerical model was verified. On this basis, the influencing factors of the hydrodynamic resonance in the gap between fixed double floating bodies were studied. The variation rules of the wave height and the force of the floating body at the gap were obtained. The results show that strong hydrodynamic resonance in the gap will be induced by an incident wave at a certain frequency. The wave height at the gap increases significantly, and the force on the floating body changes accordingly. The width of the gap and the draft of the floating body exert a significant influence on the hydrodynamic resonance results. Copyright ©2021 Journal of Harbin Engineering University.
