摘要
Recently, transition metals have gained attention in energy harvesting due to their cost-effectiveness, catalytic activity, and pH stability. ZnO-based electrocatalysts, especially with Cr and Co dopants (1%, 3%, and 5%), synthesized via solution combustion, were investigated for OER. ZnO displayed notable OER activity in alkaline conditions. Doping, particularly with chromium and cobalt, enhanced catalytic performance, with ZnO/Cr/Co:5 showing the highest activity, followed by ZnO/Cr, ZnO/Cr/Co:1, ZnO/Cr/Co:3, and pure ZnO.
