摘要
Acousto-optic terahertz radiation deflectors based on an optically isotropic medium are characterized by a low number of resolved light spots. A significant improvement in the deflector characteristics can be achieved by using a sectioned phased ultrasound transducer. The angular-frequency dependence for such a deflector is analytically obtained for the first time and the position of the operating point on it is specified taking into account the influence of the gap between the sections of the ultrasound transducer.
