Design-based research: didactic sequence on waste management in teacher training

摘要
Considering the multiplying effect their actions can have, teachers should be aware of the importance of promoting responsible consumption and waste separation in the classroom. To achieve this, drawing from previous experiences, a sequence of activities has been developed for students in the Degrees of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. This sequence, consisting of six activities, aimed to improve the students' knowledge and behaviour while equipping them with tools to implement similar sequences in the future. A positive impact of the sequence was observed, raising their awareness of the types of waste generated in the university, how it is managed, dispelling false myths and increasing their confidence to work on these issues in their future teaching. Based on the results, improvements have been established for the implementation of this sequence in subsequent courses.
