摘要
The present article rescues two burlesque epilios of the second half of the 18th century, one of them being collected in a print by Juan de la Pe & ntilde;a Calderon (Fabula burlesca de Vulcano y Venus, Madrid, Antonio Munoz del Valle / Antonio del Castillo y Jose Matias Escribano, 1767) and the other one in a manuscript that has been attributed to the author from Cadiz Francisco Nieto de Molina (Fabula de Vulcano y Venus, BNE, MSS/4046, f. 80-89, 1771). Within both of them, the myth of the god of fire and the goddess of beauty is updated as a satire against the macaronis. The preliminary study includes bio-bibliographical information about these poets and a search of their models which, in turn, demonstrate the filiation between the two testimonies.
