摘要：
This text studies how & Eacute;tienne Balibar's reflections on the relationship between democracy and citizenship contribute to the reopening of an important question for the revaluation of democracy: the new practice of politics. Moreover, this is a problem which, under the expression "dictatorship of the proletariat", had previously appeared in his writings, involving a sharp reflection on the political exclusion implied by the "intellectual" and "manual" division of labour. Furthermore, the article aims to illustrate that such a practice of politics could be enriched by examining a particular articulation between citizenship and democracy not fully explored by Balibar: Athenian democracy.
